Delta Zeta Omega chapter is the 101st chapter chartered in the storied legacy of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sorority, Incorporated. We have been of service to the San Francisco Bay Area through numerous community service and educational initiatives for more than 76 years since our chartering on September 8, 1946.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s mission is to cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards, to promote unity and friendship among college women, to study and help alleviate problems concerning girls and women in order to improve their social stature, to maintain a progressive interest in college life, and to be of “Service to All Mankind.”

Since its chartering, Delta Zeta Omega has welcomed members from San Francisco, Oakland, Richmond, San Mateo, Pacifica, South San Francisco, Daly City, Hercules, and other surrounding cities.
With a vibrant and dynamic multigenerational membership, we serve the San Francisco Bay Area in various professions and social impact organizations.
